"Humans need humans": Why can't robots ever replace us?

Robots are hardy, fast, and can already be equipped with intellects many times greater than those of some individuals. But, robots will definitely not be able to replace us in the near future. Here's why.

1. First, robots are just machines.

They're just huge stores of data. Yes, they can "think" quickly, but only within given algorithms.

That is, a robot does not understand what it is doing, it only performs a list of actions that it has to do depending on a given situation.

A man can think, he can orient himself in a situation, and sometimes it is the non-standard approach to a situation that brings success to a man.

2. Robots can be taught to interact, to work in pairs.

But they can never cooperate with each other. That is, to work following the human principle: negotiate, do something jointly, adapt to each other.

3. Robots can't fantasize.

They can only do something without showing any emotion to it. Robots are simply not adapted to showing emotions. They are machines, "pieces of iron.

But we know that "bread" - must be baked - with the soul, with children must work with people - who know how to understand them, to repair cars should those who literally "feel" them with their soul. Robots can never be taught that.

They can perfectly know the theory, perfectly do something, even several times better, than a human, but only a human can put in the work - the soul.

4. Robots can never learn the "literary word."

Yes, they can be taught to write beautiful texts, and there are robots that can do this already.

But a soul-searching machine can never write in such a way. Robots can do quality, do it quickly and correctly, but "beautiful", "heartfelt", "pleasant", "nice" and so on - these are completely inexplicable components that robots can never master.

5. Robots don't have dreams.

Again, only humans have this ability. It is the dream that drives humans. And as long as there are people who are driven by dreams, robots will not be able to surpass us, no matter how smart machines they are.

6. Also, robots will never be able to become real friends for humans.

What is there to talk about with a piece of hardware stuffed with smart programs? Human communication can never be replaced by robots.
